生活型

形態特徵

Erect shrubs, sometimes scandent; stems very minutely hirtellous, glabrescent.
Leaves coriaceous, elliptic or lanceolate, 5–16 cm long, 2–5 cm wide, apex acuminate or acute, base attenuate or obtuse to rounded, margins entire or remotely dentate or denticulate, shiny and glabrous above, pale and brown granulate below, lateral veins 5–8 pairs; petioles 5–13 mm long.
Inflorescences axillary, racemose or paniculate with 1–2 branches, very minutely hirtellous. Flowers white; calyx lobes ovate to orbicular, punctate; corolla tube campanulate, lobes ca. 1/5 length of tube.
Fruit globose or ovoid, with persistent calyx and style.

分布

台灣 : in forests at low to high elevations throughout the island.
世界 : Southwestern to southern China and Japan.
